I have been practicing law in California for over 19 years.  I am a licensed real estate broker with expertise in real estate law and construction defect cases.  I enjoy the challenge of litigating individual and complex litigation cases against large developers who have built shoddy, defective or dangerous homes. Many of the construction defect cases I have litigated have proceeded to the appellate courts and resulted in changed laws that protect the rights of consumers. I am proud of these changes and continue to be a vigorous defender of consumer rights.

I also have many years of experience dedicated to juvenile law, and enjoy the opportunity to work with young adults to assist them through a difficult time.

I am equally passionate about personal injury law.  As an avid bicyclist and member of both local and national bicycle groups, I am active in efforts to educate both drivers and riders about ways they can more safely share the road. Most of the serious injury cases I handle could have been avoided. There is satisfaction in winning large monetary recoveries for my clients while helping to make the travel safer.
